Seasoning:

2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp black pepper

2 tsp salt

3 tsp cumin

1tsp minced garlic

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tbsp olive oil

METHOD:

  1. Season the lamb. Wrap the seasoned lamb in an aluminum soil, add in rosemaries. Refrigerate for 1-2hours.

Take the steak out 30 min prior cooking.

2. Heat up the pan, no need to put in extra oil. When smocking, cook the steak for 30 secs on both sides. Then another 3-4 min depending on the thickness of the steak.

3. One highly recommended extra step - I found the texture to be AMAZING if you cook it in the air fryer for another 5 min at 375 degrees. Or you can just cook it on the pan.

Serve with Brussel sprouts and Swedish potatoes.

  • Brussel sprouts: season it with salt and pepper, and throw it into the oven for 15 min at 400-450.

  • Swedish potatoes: season it with salt and pepper, and throw it into the oven with rosemary for 30 min at 450.

Garnish with a tablespoon of kefir plain yogurt.
